David B. Augenbaum practices in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department, where he advises clients in matters of estate planning and administration. Mr. Augenbaum assists individuals and families in the preservation and transfer of wealth by creating estate plans that provide for and protect his client’s loved ones and secure their wealth for future generations. In doing so, Mr. Augenbaum prepares various types of wills and trusts, durable powers of attorney, living wills and health care proxies. In addition to tax planning, Mr. Augenbaum tailors each client’s estate plan for his or her specific needs, including planning for couples who are in a second marriage, planning for minor children and planning for family businesses.
Mr. Augenbaum also advises executors, administrators, trustees and beneficiaries throughout the probate and administration process.
Mr. Augenbaum is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 2013, Recipient of the Milton Young Prize in Taxation) and the University of Maryland University College (B.S. (Accounting) 2007, summa cum laude), and is also a Certified Public Accountant (State of New York, 2009).
Mr. Augenbaum is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association.
