Dina De Giorgio is a veteran attorney and mediator based in SSRGA’s Long Island office. She has 30-plus years of experience handling divorces and other family law matters. Prior to joining SSRGA, she had her own boutique law practice focusing on representing clients in Nassau and Suffolk County.
Dina is a tenacious advocate and problem solver for her clients both inside and outside the courtroom. Clients choose her to be their lawyer because she is solution-based, keeps her focus on their objectives, and attempts to avoid protracted and unnecessary litigation.
She combines her extensive knowledge of the law and experience as a litigator with her training as a mediator to help craft innovative approaches and solutions to bring the parties to resolution without the cost, time, and emotional toll of lengthy litigation.
Dina is a member of the matrimonial committees of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and the National Association of Divorce Professionals (NADP). She is a Board member of the Art Guild, not-for-profit organization located in Port Washington, New York.
For eight years, she also exercised her advocacy experience as a representative for the citizens of Port Washington and Manhasset as Councilwoman for the Town of North Hempstead.
Dina received a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in psychology from Fordham University and earned her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
She has been featured in the media by several local and national outlets including the New York Law Journal, Newsweek, HuffPost, and the Mastering Your Financial Life Podcast. Additionally, she has been recognized as a Long Island Business Influencer in Law for her professional and personal work in the community.
