SSRGA Announces Merger with MAK LAW

We are delighted to announce that Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP will absorb Mayerson Abramowitz & Kahn, LLP in a merger effective January 1, 2019. The combined firm will continue to practice under Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas LLP (SSRGA). SSRGA will expand its offices from 21,000 to 33,000 square feet of newly constructed space at 444 Madison Avenue in New York City, with occupancy in February 2019.

Mayerson Abramowitz & Kahn LLP (MAK) is one of the premier matrimonial, divorce and family law firms in New York City and will continue to concentrate on this practice as it expands the Matrimonial & Family Law Department of SSRGA. MAK brings extensive experience in the negotiation and litigation of contested divorce and matrimonial cases, and has represented and counseled clients seeking marital settlement and separation agreements, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and paternity and child support agreements.

MAK’s broad family law practice assists clients with issues of child custody and visitation; equitable distribution of property; preservation of separate property assets; valuation of businesses and professional practices; spousal maintenance and alimony; child support; paternity, and a myriad of other matters arising out of marital and cohabitation relationships. MAK also has represented individuals choosing to utilize alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation and arbitration.
