Joseph F. Poklemba is a senior litigator in the firm’s Florida office, concentrating his practice in commercial and real estate litigation. He represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of matters including contract disputes, construction defect claims, landlord-tenant disputes, and foreclosure actions, in both state and federal courts throughout Florida.
Over his three-decade-long career, Poklemba has represented real estate owners and developers, general contractors, banks and financial institutions, and businesses of all sizes. He has secured multi-million dollar judgments on behalf of his clients.
Immediately prior to joining SSRGA, Poklemba served as a senior litigator at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP in Plantation, Florida, and previously held senior litigation roles at several AmLaw 100 law firms.
A Philadelphia native, Poklemba earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He holds an M.B.A. in Systems Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Joseph’s University.
He is admitted to practice in Florida as well as before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
Poklemba has also served on the Real Property Litigation and Real Estate Financing & Lending committees of The Florida Bar.
