Jeffrey S. Reich, a founding partner of the firm, concentrates on the practice of real estate law. He represents a diverse group of clients, including real estate developers, lenders, investors, and cooperative and condominium boards.
Mr. Reich represented three of the country’s largest condominium and cooperative developments borrowing approximately $750,000,000 to facilitate the rehabilitation of more than 25,000 apartments in New York City. He also represented a developer in connection with the conversion and sale of some of the most spectacular loft condominiums in the city’s downtown area.
Mr. Reich is a contributor to The Cooperator, Habitat Magazine and other publications of interest to the New York real estate and co-op and condo communities. In addition, he is a frequent lecturer on a range of topics concerning cooperative and condominium law, speaking to the legal community, real estate professionals, and individual unit owners.
Mr. Reich was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993 and to the New York Bar in 1994.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an editor on the University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Review, and Tulane University, where he was elected to the honorary fraternities Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi. Mr. Reich, who has an undergraduate degree in accounting and passed all four parts of the CPA exam, brings strong financial expertise to his practice.
Mr. Reich has achieved Super Lawyer status for the years 2015 and 2016.
