Mr. Roth is a partner at the firm and has private practice experience as well as in-house experience as General Counsel for a privately held company. Mr. Roth’s practice focuses on all aspects of trusts and estates, unclaimed property compliance and asset recovery, and commercial and corporate transactions.
Mr. Roth regularly counsels and represents individual clients as well as personal injury law firms in the prosecution and defense of matters relating to administration proceedings, probate proceedings, final accounting proceedings, kinship hearings, wrongful death compromise proceedings, marshaling estate assets, estate litigation, estate planning and related real estate matters.
Mr. Roth also provides counsel to estate attorneys, research firms, and professional genealogists throughout the United States and abroad in their efforts to locate individuals, recover dormant assets, and prove kinship in estate proceedings where the Public Administrator is the fiduciary of the estate.
As in-house counsel Mr. Roth regularly counseled his clients on all general corporate matters, including personnel, regulatory compliance and contractual issues. Mr. Roth also provided counsel during the financing, purchase and sale of a private equity firm-owned portfolio company where he worked on multiple aspects of the acquisition and integration of two of the company’s largest competitors by performing legal and operational due diligence and implementing best practices across all business segments.
Mr. Roth has been recognized in Court as an expert in genealogical research and has provided expert testimony in kinship hearings. Mr. Roth has previously served as counsel to the Public Administrator of Kings County, New York and multiple publicly traded companies.
Mr. Roth is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Roth graduated from Indiana University (2002) and from Yeshiva University, Cardozo School of Law (2005).
