Samuel C. Watkins is a partner of the firm and respected litigator with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Watkins has handled complex litigation matters in the commercial litigation, securities, products liability, medical malpractice and real estate practice areas. He has also argued and tried cases in the state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Watkins was a partner at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP; Lewis, Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith., LLP; McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC, and JSBarkats, PLLC. Mr. Watkins previously served as a trial lawyer with the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a senior counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Watkins is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Districts as well as all New York State courts. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Watkins received a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College, a Master of Arts from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1988.
