Robin I. Bresky is the managing partner of the Florida office of Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas (SSRGA). She focuses her law practice on appeals and litigation support. She is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
For 22 years, Robin owned and operated her own law firm before merging with SSRGA in 2022. Earlier in her career, she served as a state prosecutor in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County.
Robin currently represents the 15th Judicial Circuit (Seat 3) on the Florida Bar Board of Governors and is a member of the Executive and Strategic Planning Committees. She also chairs the Communications Committee. Robin serves on the Disciplinary Procedure (Past Chair) and Disciplinary Review Committees and is a designated reviewer for the 15th Judicial Circuit Grievance and UPL Committees. She previously chaired the Joint Subcommittee on Website Advertising. In 2021, Robin chaired The Florida Bar’s Annual Convention.
Robin is a past president of the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, a fellow of the American Bar Association, and a member of the Appellate Judges Conference. Robin served as president of the Statewide Florida Association for Women Lawyers and its South Palm Beach County chapter. She is a past president of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and served for 2 years on the Board for the Palm Beach County Bar Association. At SSRGA, she founded a mentorship initiative to coach and support other female attorneys.
Robin serves on the Judicial Nominating Commission Screening Committees for both the Fourth District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. She has also been a board member of the Fourth DCA Historical Society since its inception.
Since 2007, Robin has served on the board of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and has provided many hours of pro bono work for the organization. She also chairs the annual Project Nuremberg Lawyer Luncheon at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton and is a long-time supporter of JAFCO, which provides services to abused and neglected children in South Florida.
Robin has received numerous awards and honors in recognition of her many years of service to the community and the legal profession. These include a Florida Legal Award for Distinguished Leadership; the Woman Lawyer of the Year Award from the South Palm Beach County Chapter of FAWL; a Woman of Grace Award from the Bethesda Hospital Foundation; and an Appellate Law Pro Bono Award from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
She has also been named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite as a Notable Managing Partner and as one of its Notable Women Leaders in Law. In addition, she has been selected to Florida Super Lawyers and recognized as a Top Lawyer by Palm Beach Illustrated and Boca Observer for several consecutive years.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
